Name
Aderalle
Age
3
Gender
Stallion
Coat Colour
A mossy sort of grey-brown-green, low in colour saturation. Points are a darkened version of this same colour, becoming nearly black. A dorsal stripe and faint zebra markings on his legs.
Mane/Tail
Same as points, dark olive. Stringy and tangled, studded with debris.
Other Specifics
Chipped hooves with curled, unkempt edges, which show some indication of being cloven as that of an elk or deer. Very dark eyes. Coat is very matte, often caked with dirt.
Appearance
Having an elegant, well-muscled appearance to him, you would think it would be easy for Aderalle to pull off the air of being graceful and athletic. He stands at 15.3 hands, face delicate and chiseled with some faint traces of Arab blood (quite obviously well back in his lineage). His coat, a sort of olive-coloured concoction of grey, brown and green, could easily be buffed to a perfect gleam. His lack of concern for his appearance hinders the beauty that it could hold. Adorning his olive coat are markings very close to that of a dun; ear tips, muzzle, legs, dorsal stripe and faint zebra markings... all in a darker, near-black olive shade. His stringy, matted mane and tail also carry this colouration.
The only thing that truly sets his conformation apart from the average horse are his hooves. They bear evidence of some old genetics, muted and faded through the generations, injected into the bloodline to create a cloven, deer-like appearance. The chipping and curling of his unkempt and overgrown hooves mutes the trait even further.
Element
Water & Life.
Personality
Aderalle is a gentle being, creating few friends and even fewer enemies. Relationships are not important to him, although he is quite aware that they could be highly beneficial if he ever were to decide that passing on his genetics was a priority. As it were, however, such a situation is highly unlikely. Having always thought of himself as some sort of oddity - as many seem to even when surrounded by others in the same predicament - the young stallion seems to find it crude to think of d**ning another with his genes. Perhaps, however, this is only a show. It is quite likely that this excuse is only a guise invented to help him cope with his social awkwardness and general preference to have long-winded conversations with himself before others. Who needs friends when you have yourself? Well, Addy, everyone... but that's apparently beside the point.
Always slow-moving, Aderalle is somewhat of a vagabond. He goes nowhere in a hurry and is rarely inclined to go anywhere at all! But when he is so inclined, Addy makes a point of arriving and departing with as little flair as possible. Perhaps the only thing that would draw attention to him would be his unkempt appearance, which he seems totally oblivious to.
History
Having had the most average of colt-hoods, Addy seems unusually plagued by emotional scars upon inspection. That is, if he even lets you inspect him. Aderalle grew up as any did - at the side of his mother and the feet of his father. His mother nurtured him and encouraged him to be gentle, thoughtful and self-reliant. His father, whom he received most of his physical appearance from, tried to imprint upon him an overbearing, haughty, holier-than-thou attitude. Both having supposedly good intentions, but both inevitably failing on most accounts. Far from being thoughtful or decidedly overbearing, Addy did manage to turn out rather self-reliant and can appear haughty, although the later is actually just insecurity behind a mask. Mostly, he is just a lazy, aimless being.
Upon turning two years of age, and seeming a lost cause to his father, Aderalle was turned loose from the family band and sent off, to most of the herd's expectations, to fail miserably at being the leader of himself, let alone a group of mares of his very own. Aderalle tells himself that he will prove them all wrong, ashamed of his own failures... but the likelihood of him bringing this plan full circle is about null. The drive and passion just don't seem to live within him.
