I am an artist, crafter, full-time college student and "mother" to a six month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, among many other pets - rabbits, cats, chinchillas, birds, fish, guinea pigs, etc. Aforementioned Corgi puppy accompanies me on many of my daily tasks, dismembering the skeins of yarn I am trying to knit or crochet from, licking freshly painted walls and canvases, stealing my tablet pen, tearing pages from my horrendously expensive college texts and chewing on the bricks of my fireplace's hearth. Mostly, though, he lays at my feet while I dig through the Internet for whatever the flavour of the day may be, or waits impatiently with his nose through the gate, whining, for me to come home. Currently, he is biting my fingers and slobbering on the keyboard as I attempt to type. Darling baby boy.
If I am not at home, I am at school. I am enrolled in 13 credit hours this Fall semester, working on my second year toward a degree in business administration. My biggest goal is to open a restaurant, but I would also like to engage in some e-commerce via Etsy.com selling some of my crafts. I am also searching for a job, but having little luck. Let's pray this economy picks up.
I would also like to put out a tentative offer to anyone on this site who would like art of their character. Any requests I get will be picked through and not necessarily everyone will get what they asked, but... you know... what time and inspiration permits.
Likes: New toothbrushes/toothpaste, Albreicht Durer, Italian food, knitting, crochet, sewing, drawing, writing, getting mail, chunky sweaters, the movie Up, blankets fresh from the drier, freshly sharpened pencils, bacon, Chipotle, digging through Etsy.com, driving, camp fires, hiking
Dislikes: Most cats, mandatory reading, math, 7 am college classes, religious people knocking at my door, Macs, Walmart, modern art, fiction books, bad hair days, humidity
Collects: Rubber ducks (don't ask), Breyers, Bath & Body Works stuff (my room is full of perfume bottles, etc.), candles, clothes (the bar in my closet is bent from the weight), yarn, yarn and yarn.
