Name:
Brise
Gender:
Female
Age:
7
Coat:
Yellow & white zebra-type print, yellow stripes fading out into white points.
Mane and Tail:
Yellow & white part-colored, lining up with stripes on the neck/creating a striped (mostly white) tail. Full, "fluffy" mane and long, thick tail to the ground.
Other:
Pink nose, the white hairs allowing flesh to show through. Yellow-gray hooves. 12HH. Pony-like in build. Light brown, gold-flecked eyes.
Appearance:
A pristine white coat covers Brise, along with a large number of rich mustard yellow zebra stripes, which slowly fade at her points to leave only white behind. Her full, nearly downy mane and tail are part-colored, holding the same colors as her coat and stripes. Her thick ground-length tail, however, is mostly white, but still retains a number of yellow stripes. As well as white and yellow on her mane, she also has a few silver gray hairs.
Her white hair begins to shorten and thin near her nose, allowing pink to show through. Her hooves are an unsaturated yellow, nearly grey. She has some grayish fringing up along the backs of her lower legs, moving to the inside of her legs and around her groin, as well as some on her chin and ear tips. Her build is much like a pony, and has a large head with a full body and short, thin legs. Her eyes are a light brown, flecked with gold.
Element:
Fire & air.
Personality:
For most of Brise's life, she has had a very short temper. Whining from another horse will quickly prompt her to say what, exactly, she thinks of said horse. Quick to point out inadequacies and faults, she could be called, in short, rude. While she does carry with her some nurturing instincts and emotions, she does not readily let these show. Often, her problems are the only problems on Earth, and she does not strive to help others.
While she may, occasionally, aid another horse, it is a rare instance and may very well be because she believes she can benefit from her actions. Brise tries her best to refrain from saying more then needed. This often causes her to come off as very quiet mare, which is not true; if asked her opinion, she is often more then happy to voice it, but it may include some things oneself does not wish to hear. Another method of getting her to speak would be to question Brise's actions, as she can become very defensive.
History:
Brise does not recall much of her younger years. This is mostly due to her belief that they were unremarkable, of which she is correct. She never spoke much to her father, which was just as well for her. She did not care too much for him, and felt only a small amount of affection for him. Her mother cared for her, and kept her out of harms way, but only for a couple of years. Once she had reached maturity at three, her mother began to separate herself from Brise. For the most part, Brise knew this would happen, but still felt some pain from it. Over the next three years, she had a foal, well cared for but not particularly deeply loved.
Brise nurtured her offspring but knew they would only leave eventually, as it was a stallion. Near the age of seven, the lead stallion of the herd, her father, had died. She was never exactly sure what happened to him, as she did not pursue the subject with much effort. When her mother had told her, she was only told that age had hit her father, and that he had passed. The passing of the lead stallion led the herd to slowly disband, as all the males had left at this point, including Brise's foal. When only four mares were remaining members of the herd, including her mother, Brise decided it was time for her to leave and find another herd. She has just started her journey, searching for a new place to call home...
