Extended Bio: morgensternrp.webs.com/edell.htm
Name: Edell
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Edell, being a centaur (and classically so), carries your usual centaur conglomeration of bits and pieces. His hot-blooded (Arab and Akhal Teke strain, primarily) equine half lends to him a lean, long look with a thin, wispy and slightly crimped mane and tail. Hooves are small and tend toward being barefoot-sound, although shoeing is not something he is above or has not experienced. Genetics have granted him a grullo coat complete with all the trimmings: dorsal stripe, ventral stripe, barring and points. Low socks on his left foreleg and right hindleg leave the coordinating hooves pink, while the others exist in a murky brown-black shade. A few scars dot his pelt, but they are from no story of courage or excitement and are therefore unremarkable in his eyes.
His human half is lucky enough to seem congruent with his bottom half. Muscles are present, but he is more of the lanky, skinny, slightly awkward type than the muscular type. He is tall all over, and if he were human he would likely be about 6'3". Skin is a tanned olive-brown, well worn in the sun and freckled within an inch of its life on his shoulders and arms. His eyes are brown, near-black, and his nose large, charmingly crooked and well pronounced. Facial hair is scraggly and kept as well under control as he can manage. Hair is brown, chopped off roughly at about three inches all over. He keeps it clean, but it has a tousled quality to it that he does not bother to worry over.
Element: Fire, Life
Personality:
Hopeless romantic. Those seem to be the best words for this boy. He has had enough lovers and one-night stands to make anyone think of him as a player, but he seems to view each happening as an entire relationship and something of no shame. True, he does mourn lost lovers, but Edell is easily distracted and most always moves swiftly on to the next opportunity for butterflies in his stomach, a kiss, or a night spent in company. He is unembarrassed of his track record as he has rectified it in his own eyes.
Besides that, Edell is generally a very easy-going being. He is not argumentative or confrontational unless he knows his opponent well, and always thinks out every word before he says it. Edell has an opinion on everything, and can often be found just sitting, thinking, formulating his idea on what is right, wrong, stupid, etc. In an argument he always knows how he feels - even if he just surrenders and walks away.
History:
History
Edell would never tell anyone that he had lived an exciting life thus for, for that is not what he believes. In fact, he would probably call it down right generic. There have been no tragedies: no loss of a parent or sibling, no loss of home... nothing. Sure, there's a string of old lovers that have been abandoned... and, sure, he has no children and is no longer at home... but such is the life of a bachelor! Edell sees none of these things as problems, but as opportunities. Being alone is a chance to no longer be alone, and that is what he is here to muster.
